August update

Leaving Korea with a ton of luggage!!!


Yeah!!! We are back in the USA!!



Had a nice visit in Colorado with Mimi (Tim's grandma)


Went horseback riding in Estes Park, Colorado... the kids loved it!


We also stopped thru Iowa to see Monica's grandma and family.

Well the summer has been a blur with moving back to the USA.. the whole month of July was spent packing up, cleaning out, and saying goodbye to some wonderful friends in Korea.. We flew out on Aug 2nd to Colorado where we had a wonderful time seeing Tim's grandma, aunt and dad.. We took a side trip to Estes Park, Colorado too and had a great family vacation which we needed.. We went horseback riding, played miniature golf, went swimming and made family tie-dye shirts at the YMCA of the Rockies... It was gorgeous there and very relaxing.. then we headed to Iowa to see Monica's family.. We had a wonderful time there too... my cousins came into town and we all went to a family reunion while we were there. The kids loved the pontoon boat ride that my cousin did for us.. Then we flew out to San Francisco to start our new chapter of life.. We had some hiccups with our car and household goods having damages but we are getting settled in now and getting on a routine.. Reagan loves kindergarten (after crying for the first 2 weeks....) and Ryan loves running around everywhere and riding all of the scooters, big wheels outside.. I got a job in home health physical therapy which I start tomorrow and Tim starts graduate school tomorrow too....So our time off has come to an end!! Come visit if you are ever near Monterey.. it is gorgeous!!!!!!!
ps... I updated the slide show above and to the right with pics from last January when we went to the states for Tim's course...I know... so old now but look thru them if you want... I am only 7 months behind now!!! I admire all of those women who post pictures right away.. I used to be good at that!!!

Well we are having a great summer over here and winding down... We think we have the best neighbors/friends around and have been having so much fun grilling out, going to the pool and doing fun trips around Seoul all together.... these next 3 weeks will be so hard having to say goodbye to such wonderful people.... I added a new slideshow up to the right from December!!! I know crazy... but at least now I am caught up to 2010!!! Hope you enjoy!

Catching up!

Well it has been forever since I updated this blog but I finally got around to it.. I just included some recent pictures below but then attached pictures from way back in Nov in our slideshow.. I will eventually catch up again!! We are winding down our tour over here in Seoul and it has been an amazing experience... We love Korea and have had a chance to see so many things, go on fun trips and have some quality family time... But we are looking forward to our move to Monterey, CA in August.. can't complain about that duty station! So tonight Reagan came in the kitchen and said "Mommy, I know everything... I know more than you do" and I said, " Reagan, you are only 5 years old and I am 34 years old" to which Reagan replied..." you are only 33 years old... see I do know everything!"

Well it is about time I updated this blog.... I always put it off or get interrupted when I am ready to do it but today I finally found some time.. We just got back from visiting the states.. We were gone for 10 weeks to mostly Norfolk, VA but stopped off in the Seattle area, Las Vegas and made some side trips to Wash DC, Annapolis, Richmond, Raleigh and Atlanta.. I think we slept in 8 different houses/hotels during our journey but it was soooo worth it.. We got to see so many family members and friends.. We just wish we could have seen all of you.. Our time went by very quickly but at least we missed out on the harsh Korean winter back here.. We got to do some great shopping for the summer so that was very fun for me..Let's just say the kids visited a lot of indoor mall playgrounds in Norfolk!

Well the pictures above are from our past 3 months... Reagan just turned 5 on March 31st and had a fun princess party at the house..She has started reading and is so excited to start kindergarten in the fall.. She has been very creative lately so we are starting her in art classes to explore this area.. Ryan is such a fun little boy.. He loves being outside and wants to talk soo bad... he already knows Daddy, dog, car, cracker, and uh-oh but he has a lot more to say! We just celebrated a wonderful Easter with great friends this past weekend and luckily had some great weather. I also added pictures from October in the slideshow at the top to the right if you click on Ryan's picture in the green outfit.. I am so far behind but I am working on catching up finally!! Happy New Year!

We just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We had a wonderful day today with brunch at our neighbor's home with all of our amazing friends.
The girls at brunch this morning at Jewel and Jason's house... It was super yummy with delicious cinnamon rolls and more food than we could ever all eat!
The gang ready for the TV countdown.. it was already 2010 here but we pretended like it wasn't!! kinda weird counting down for New Year's Eve at 2pm in the afternoon!! There were more people there than this picture too!
